CPM/DMM: Historic Training of Women

CPM/DMM: Historic Training of Women

100 Missionary Women focused upon 200+ UPGs

“What just took place with this women to women DMM/CPM training was not just unprecedented, it was historic!”-S P, Global DMM/CPM trainer, ActBeyond

Last November, I was approached and asked to design, train, and pull together what this might look like for field missionary women. The following are bullet points of how the Lord uniquely moved in the hearts of these missionary women this past week.

Ø       Area: Unity, incredible unity. We intentionally did not mention any missions agencies up front. We all represented over 22 sending orgs.
Ø Area: Personal breakthroughs and transformation for many of the women. (missionaries tend to get beat up on their respective fields)
Ø   Area: Worship and intercession at deeper transformational levels was intentionally woven and spun into the fabric of the main frame of the training
Ø  Area:  What is it that the missionary women appreciated?
§  “I felt like it was real, practical,” commented several women.
§  “Everything was intentional and tailor fit for us as women to begin to implement, with clear personal action steps, including accountability framework we came up with individually,” stated several other women.
§   “We love our men and times together in trainings, but we sure enjoyed this approach to DMM/CPM training, this approach felt freeing and accepting of who we are as women in this process,” elaborated others.
§  “The design of this DMM/CPM training allowed  us as women missionaries to delve into what God is leading us to be and do. In other words, this training calls us forth into God’s designs for our unique roles as women in order to see impactful steps launched among the women of these UPGs,” reflected several others.

In summary, the following story I experienced nails one of the visions for this training:

Two days after the training, I met a family of one of the women we equipped. I asked the dad where the mother was so that I could say “hi”. He responded with a huge smile that Betty is with one of the POPs  (Persons of Peace found in Matthew 10/Luke 10) they found when at the training and she is now on her 2nd Discovery Bible Study story from the Old Testament with this POP from that household. The POP is trained to take this same simple group process back to the Hindu (in this case) household.

The husband has been implementing/training others in this DMM/CPM approach but had yet to see where his wife could plug in…they are working this out with little kids in the mix and doing well.

For His glory, many kneeled. On behalf of the women of the UPGs who are waiting to be found…many battle in intercession. Now, intercede that the women will be faithful to walk out these DMM/CPM essentials in their respective UPGs.
